Dirty panels – that is, we wash a solar power plant near Kielce
New farm – dirty panels
When we received an order from our regular customer, we knew that this time it wasn’t about washing the photovoltaic installation on the roof of his company.
After thinking about it for a long time, he decided to buy a ready-made photovoltaic farm. Rising electricity prices and also a desire to invest the funds appropriately made him decide to invest in his own solar power plant.
There is a 2-year-old farm with a capacity of almost 1 MW near Kielce in the Świętokrzyskie province.
Our client, realizing the importance of keeping photovoltaic modules clean , commissioned us to clean it. Why? Because on an installation 2 years old are just dirty panels.
Dirty panels – the bane of solar power plants
As in the case of this order, one main factor in the formation of dirt on the panels prevails. These include dust, chicken dust and sand deposited by the frames. Any impurities that appear on the glass interfere with the penetration of light, through which electricity is produced.
Increasingly, owners are realizing how much impact the cleanliness of modules has on power production. Dirty panels = less production, yet the idea is to produce as much as possible and thus earn as much as possible.
Cleaning of installations in Kielce
We and our team arrived at the farm first thing in the morning. The sun barely looked out from behind the horizon and we were already there. Efficiently unlock the entrance gate, then enter the farm, then lay out the equipment and we’re off!
In front of us were 16 rows, all equal so it was easy to plan the work. The panels really were heavily soiled, the rains that fell earlier rinsed off the top and pressed the rest against the module frames. We paid special attention to bringing the edges of the frames (at the interface between the frame and the glass)to order. This is extremely important, as we and our team are well aware.
It took us more than 12 man-hours to clean the photovoltaic farm near Kielce, and as we left after finishing the job the sun was hiding behind the horizon
