Register of energy producers in a small installation

Register of small-scale energy producers, also known as MIOZE, – what is it? Who is included in this register? And what requirements must be met by the entities included in it?

On the URE (Energy Regulatory Authority) we can find various registers. One of them is the register of small-scale energy producers. The register is published under Art. 11 of the Renewable Energy Law. It is updated daily at night, between midnight and one o’clock, and applies to small-scale power generation.

Register of small-scale energy generators – which generators are included in it?

The ERO registers the following installations RES, divided into 12 groups:

  1. BGO, that is, producing from biogas from wastewater treatment plants.
  2. BGR, that is, producing from agricultural biogas.
  3. BGS, or those generating from landfill biogas.
  4. BME, that is, producing from biomass from energy crops.
  5. BMG, that is, producing from biomass from forest, agricultural, garden waste.
  6. BMK, that is, generating from biomass from municipal and industrial solid waste.
  7. BMPs, that is, those that produce from biomass from industrial wood and pulp and paper waste.
  8. BMM, or those producing from mixed biomass.
  9. PVA, or those that produce from solar radiation (photovoltaic).
  10. WIL, stands for wind power plant on land.
  11. WOA, or run-of-river hydroelectric power plant up to 0.3 MW.
  12. WOB, or run-of-river hydroelectric power plant up to 1 MW.

For example, there are as many as 2240 items in the PVA group, or, as described above, generating energy from solar radiation. This means that more than 2,000 entities have a small photovoltaic installation. Some of these entities have more than 1 photovoltaic power plant. It is also worth noting that the register includes PV installations of min. 50 kWp and not exceeding 1 MW.

Are you planning to build your photovoltaic farm or looking for an O&M service company?

Do you want to purchase a photovoltaic or wind farm project and need an efficient and professional audit / due diligence?
